John Alesbrook

John

John is the  Principal Dentist and owner of Sandygate Dental. He graduated from Sheffield University in 2003 after training at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. he spent a few years practicing his skills of general practice in Doncaster. In 2009, he took the opportunity to buy Sandygate Dental, an independant Practice close to his home and where he lived for many years whilst a student at Charles Clifford.

Since becoming the Principal Dentist at Sandygate, John has focussed on modernising the Practice and patient experience along side continuing his education. Along with providing  the highest standards of general dentistry, he has completed several post qualification training and is skilled and experienced in the placement of dental implants as an option to permanently restore missing teeth. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).

John is interested in advanced restoration and has attended many courses and conferences in the techniques of restoring patients confidence in their smiles. He is trained and skilled in moving teeth using the clear alilgner system and using advanced cosmetic filling material to restore teeth to their natural shade and colour.

John is the champion for the Practices' Vison that puts the patient at the heart of all decisions made.  Patients often comment about his clear communication, how he explains procedures at every stage and provides clear guidance to help make informed choices. John believes in building relationship and trust with patients to last a lifetime.

​

Alongside work, John can been seen in the local area with his family. His interests are wide and varied. One of his proudest sporting moments was when he qualify to row at the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta. He also won a Pennant in a crew with his wife at the Vesta  Head of the River Race on the Thames where they  won a Pennant as the fastest  crew in their category and came 15th out of 350 boats racing.
